Causes of Academic Pressure

What are the causes of Academic Pressure?

1.Time management of student

2.Lack of sleep

3.Unhealthy Lifestyle

4.Poor Academic Performance

Stress is the physical and mental response of the body to demands made upon it.   It is the result of our reaction to outside events, not necessarily the events themselves.

Not all stress is bad.   We each function best and feel best at our own optimal level of physiological arousal.   We need some stress to get everyday things done.   Too little can lead to boredom and “rust out” – but too much can lead to “burn out”.

The main cause of the academic stress were: schedule time, system of evaluations, financial system, amount of work, difficulty with the material of study, lifestyle, competition, adaptation and demand of the course; and between the main consequences there were found the lack of concentration, intellectual fatigue, inapetence for the usual tasks, oversight, sexual fatigue, sadness, descent of the intellectual or physical performance, nervousness, modification of the cardiac frequency, blood pressure, metabolism and physical activity.
